Harga Minyak Jatuh

Minyak turun tajam hampir mencapai $4, menjadi $120. Meski minyak turun, Dow juga minus 0,37%. Kekhawatiran terhadap inflasi menghantui Dow. Sementara itu, harga berbagai komoditas juga turun drastis. Indeks batu bara turun 8,6%.

Ini adalah berita dari Bloomberg, CNBC dan Yahoo : "Wall Street fell Monday in an erratic session dominated by worries about inflation -- which were somewhat soothed by a plunge in oil prices that took crude to its lowest level in three months." "Crude oil futures at the New York Mercantile Exchange on Monday fell at one point below $120 a barrel for the first time since early May, and way below the record $147 reached just over three weeks ago.Every $1 decline in the price of oil equals about a 2.4-cent drop in the price for a gallon of gasoline."

"Corn and soybeans both fell more than 5 percent, dropping as much as the daily limit allowed on the Chicago Board of Trade, as favorable weather may boost the crops."

"Copper tumbled as much as 4.3 percent to $3.426 a pound on the Comex division of the Nymex, the lowest price since Feb. 8. Inventories monitored by the London Metal Exchange reached the highest level since February. Aluminum, nickel and other industrial metals also fell. Platinum capped the biggest two-day decline in 22 years."

Agak sulit memperkirakan arah sektor mana yang akan bergerak naik hari ini di IHSG, yang jelas agaknya sektor komoditas akan kembali turun sejalan tren kemarin dan tren internasional. Sektor finance masih menunggu BI rate hari ini, secara teknis sektor ini juga rawan terkoreksi karena sudah overbought. BISI secara teknis sebenarnya menarik karena mulai meninggalkan oversold sebab harga yang naik drastis kemarin, namun jatuhnya harga jagung cukup mengkhawatirkan. Pilihan hari ini adalah wait & see atau setidaknya sesegera mungkin hit & run.
